I’m a tech entrepreneur based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I started my entrepreneurial career in 2005 with a hobby eCommerce shop. In 2007 I co-founded Niteo, a web development company, and non-profit Mladi podjetnik (Slovenian for “young entrepreneur”) for supporting young entrepreneurs. In 2009 MP received a new leadership and in a few years became a renowned brand for supporting entrepreneurs.
In 2008 I sold the eCommerce shop and focused on Niteo. In that same year, we became partners and technology advisers for a global web security project. That project received Venture Capital in 2011.
Our contract with the company ended in 2012 and in 2014 the project crashed and burned. That sucked quite a bit.
In 2012 we focused on consulting work for large European and American companies. At the beginning of 2014, we terminated all our consulting work (and 70% of our revenue) and focused on our own projects.
It took us a year to stabilize the company and with the beginning of 2015, we were finally on the right track. Within a year and a half, we had a gross run-rate of $1M and were looking to expand and develop projects in highly competitive markets.
